Accessibility Statement
This is a starting point, not legal advice. Read it through, change anything that does not describe this site, and fill in the dates before you publish it.
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, navigate with a keyboard, or need larger text and stronger contrast. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not as something added afterwards.
Standard we aim for
This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the benchmark generally applied when measuring whether a website is accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What we have done
An accessibility widget is built into this site. It lets you:
- increase the text size
- switch to a more readable typeface
- turn on high contrast
- switch to greyscale
- highlight every link on the page
- stop animation and movement
Your choices are remembered on this device, so you do not have to set them again on every page.
Beyond the widget, the site is built to be operated entirely from the keyboard, images carry text alternatives, headings follow a logical order, and form fields have labels that screen readers announce.
Known limitations
Some content on this site comes from third parties, such as embedded video players and maps. We do not control how accessible those are, and we work with what the suppliers provide.
Tell us if something does not work
If any part of this site is hard or impossible for you to use, we want to know. Use the contact details on this page and tell us which page you were on and what happened. We aim to respond within a few business days and to fix what we can.
If you need information from this site in another format, ask us and we will provide it.
